The SMC 3000 is a compact, high-performance pneumatic drill carrier purpose-built for underground long-hole drilling in confined spaces. Designed to operate efficiently in mine headings as small as 8 ft x 8 ft, this carrier combines compact dimensions with serious drilling power.
The SMC-TE-3000 variant features a reliable long-hole drill mounted on a rugged feed assembly. Operators control the system via a five-lever remote panel, while a heavy-duty centralizer ensures drilling precision.
Powered by dual pneumatic motors connected to gearboxes and a chain drive assembly, the unit delivers true four-wheel drive with traction steering and passive braking—ensuring solid mobility and control underground.
Constructed with a heavy-duty, all-welded steel frame, the carrier can be easily disassembled into smaller sections for transport through narrow access points. The leveling system includes four hydraulic outrigger jacks, providing stable operation on uneven surfaces.
