3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) Coated Pipe is a high-performance solution for long-distance pipeline systems that require exceptional corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long service life. This advanced coating system consists of three distinct layers, each serving a critical function:

Layer 1: Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) – Forms a strong, corrosion-resistant base that bonds directly to the steel surface.

Layer 2: Copolymer Adhesive – Provides excellent chemical adhesion between the epoxy and outer polyethylene layer.

Layer 3: Polyethylene/Polypropylene – Delivers robust protection against physical damage, UV exposure, and environmental wear.

With epoxy thickness ≥ 125 μm, adhesive ≥ 150 μm, and outer PE/PP layer ranging from 1.8 mm to 4.7 mm, the 3LPE system combines the chemical resistance of epoxy with the mechanical strength and impact resistance of polyethylene—making it ideal for buried pipelines and extreme environments.
