The Compact Backpack Core Drilling Rig redefines portable exploration drilling with its lightweight, ergonomic design, making it an essential tool for mineral, geological, and environmental surveys. Engineered for rapid shallow core sampling up to depths of approximately 23 meters, this rig is ideally suited for mineral exploration, geochemical sampling, oil field investigations, geotechnical assessments, and engineering surveys including highway and tunnel inspections.

Weighing under 18 kilograms when fully packed, the entire system—including the rig and accessories—fits into a single backpack, enabling easy transport to remote and challenging locations. Its modular design allows quick assembly and disassembly without tools, with a simple push, pull, and rotate mechanism facilitating fast core extraction and replacement.

Powered by a reliable 5.1 HP gasoline engine with a no-load speed of 1920 rpm, the rig supports diamond drill bits ranging from 26mm to 100mm in core diameter, and drilling diameters of 32mm to 108mm. The precision-engineered water supply system, featuring dual pressure bottles and a mud pump, delivers efficient cooling and debris removal during operation.

Tested across multiple rock types, the rig demonstrates impressive drilling speeds—up to 241 mm/min in limestone and 226 mm/min in dolomite—ensuring high operational efficiency. Drill rods crafted from tough stainless steel feature tool-free screw connections for rapid extension, while diamond drill bits are available in multiple configurations to match varied geological conditions, from hard quartz to soft soils.
