Description
The Disc Feeder (also known as a disk feeder) is a robust and continuous volumetric feeding device, ideal for controlled material handling in cement plants, chemical factories, power stations, and other bulk-processing industries. Designed for uniform and steady material discharge, this feeder efficiently handles non-sticky, low-flowability materials under 20 mm in size—including cement, clinker, coal powder, limestone, clay, and ore.
By utilizing a rotating disc and adjustable scraper mechanism, the feeder pulls material from a storage container and delivers it precisely to the next stage of processing.
Available in Four Configurations:
Open Hanging Type (DK)
Closed Hanging Type (DB)
Open-Seat Type
Closed-Seat Type
Key Features:
Consistent feeding: Ensures continuous and uniform discharge
Adjustable flow: Regulating gate controls material layer thickness
Low noise & simple design: Easy to maintain and operate
Durable construction: Equipped with hardened face gear for long-term use
Versatile material compatibility: Suitable for powders, granules, and small block materials
SMC’s disc feeders are widely recognized and trusted for their reliability, performance, and compact design. As a vital piece of cement equipment, they are the preferred choice for efficient and accurate material handling.
