Dual stage oil lubricated rotary vane pumps

Description

The SMC-HTE-5 K, 10 K and 20 K are two-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps with oil bath lubrication, engineered for precise and durable vacuum performance. Each pump is flanged to an electric motor via an elastic coupling and cooled by forced air using a centrifugal fan.

Key features include an integrated check valve to prevent oil backflow and air return during shutdown, and an adjustable gas ballast to reduce internal condensation when handling small amounts of vapor. For enhanced filtration, an optional TMF separator filter effectively removes oil mist from exhaust air, with automatic oil recovery occurring during operation or stop phases at maximum vacuum or closed suction.

These pumps are designed to handle air and small quantities of water vapor, making them ideal for evacuating closed systems or maintaining a constant vacuum up to 1 × 10⁻³ mbar (absolute) in both industrial and laboratory environments.
