Description
The intermediate frequency melting furnace is strategically positioned to melt metals or alloys using intermediate frequency induction heating. Once melted and alloyed, the metal melt is directed through a pre-heater and guide tube toward a spray plate. At this stage, high-pressure gas is introduced through a nozzle, atomizing the molten metal into fine droplets. These droplets solidify into fine metal powders—either sub-spherical or irregular in shape—under the combined influence of surface tension and rapid cooling by the gas stream during free fall. This process ensures efficient powder formation with controlled particle characteristics suitable for various industrial applications.
