SMC Surface Drill Rigs Series
The SMC range of Surface Drill Rigs, including the SMC-TE–D480A and SMC-TE–D440A models, are engineered to deliver high performance across diverse geological conditions. The SMC-TE–D480A has been proven effective in soft, medium, and hard rock formations, delivering deep holes ranging from 5″ to 8″ with fast drilling rates and minimal maintenance requirements. Meanwhile, the SMC-TE–D440A, available in both standard and Autochange Rod variants, offers a compact yet powerful drilling solution ideal for surface quarry mining and a wide variety of applications. With excellent price-to-quality balance, the D440A models are suitable for bench blast hole drilling in mid-soft to mid-hard rock, meeting the needs of modern mining operations with efficiency and reliability.
